About Calypso
Calypso was my first ever show dog. She was initially a breeding prospect but she simply did not structurally mature the way we wanted and she sadly also failed OFA hips. So she was spayed.
Calypso earned her UKC Champion title at 6 months old in only 2 show weekends, her Grand Champion title soon after, and her International/National/Honors Champion titles with IABCA at 18 months old.
She is currently living her best life doing all the sports she wants. Calypso is a certified therapy dog with both Love on a Leash and Alliance of Therapy Dogs. Calypso is actively working on earning RACH and is my novice A dog!

Legacy's Sing to Your Spirit
Calypso is a song by American singer-songwriter John Denver. One of the lyrics in the song is "Aye, Calypso, I sing to your spirit" which is where her registered name came from. Her UpDog team name "Free As a Wind Swell" is also a lyric from the same song.
