About Calypso
​​Calypso earned her UKC Champion title at 6 months old in only 2 show weekends, her Grand Champion title soon after, and her International/National/Honors Champion titles with IABCA at 18 months old. She is currently living her best life doing all the sports she wants. She is a certified therapy dog with both Love on a Leash and Alliance of Therapy Dogs.

Calypso is now spayed. She will resume competing in UKC altered conformation in 2026.

Calypso is a song by American singer-songwriter John Denver. One of the lyrics in the song is "Aye, Calypso, I sing to your spirit" which is where her registered name came from. Her UpDog team name "Free As a Wind Swell" is also a lyric from the same song.
